How does the assignment, preparation and submission of a translation work?
Please, send your order using the request form in the section "Contact". Soon you will receive a calculation with the proposal of the delivery date. Your following biding order is necessary. I accept input / output formats: DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PDF, RTF, ODT, TXT, JPG, and TIF.

What is a language and stylistic proofreading?
Proofreading is the revision or update of translation. The purpose is to eliminate the occurrence of spelling, typographical, graphic and factual, or even stylistic errors.

What is editing and proofreading before printing?
This proofreading is made for the documents, which are intended for printing or publishing. Editor makes a final check of a text - e.g. text wraps, word division, incorrectly used characters or diacritical marks.

What is a standard page?
Standard page (SP) is the basic unit to determine the extent of the text. It contains 1,800 characters, including spaces, which is approximately 250 words of an ordinary text.

What is an approximate daily capacity of translator?
Translation from Czech to Slovak language and vice versa, it is usually about 8 SP per day. For a translation from and into English, it is about 6 SP per day.

How to submit documents for translation?
The preferred method is by e-mail, or service Uschovna.cz, FTP, etc. It is also possible to send printed documents by mail. Later on they are digitised.
